Joe Frawley

JOE FRAWLEY

Joe was licensed in 2009 and has been in private practice since then.  He has extensive experience advising on and litigating a variety of civil issues in forums including mediation, arbitration, state and federal trial courts, and state and federal appellate courts.  Joe has obtained trial verdicts worth millions of dollars as well as successfully defended clients through both pretrial dispositions and at trial and arbitration.  He also has experience negotiating and, when necessary, litigating with insurance companies over issues concerning insurance coverage, property damage and personal injury.

Beyond his civil litigation practice, Joe has an extensive estate planning and elder law practice.  He advises clients concerning their estate planning and helps families navigate the succession process, whether through probate or administering a trust, when a loved one has passed away.  Joe also helps families protect their loved ones through guardianships and estate litigation.

When he is not working, Joe spends time with his wife, Laura, and three children.  The Frawleys are active in local sports, where both Joe and Laura coach, and spend time outdoors when they manage to have time.

ZACHARY HOFSTAD

Originally from Snohomish, WA, I finished high school in Kalispell, MT, and still return there whenever I can to ski Whitefish Mountain.  I played soccer at Northwest University in Kirkland, WA, and attended law school in Virginia.

While in law school I studied in France and spent considerable time focused on international law, Islamic law, and foreign affairs, punctuated by an internship at the European Parliament in Brussels working for an EU representative from Ireland.

Following passage of the Washington State Bar in 2008, I accepted a visiting professor position at Handong International Law School in South Korea.  After a short spell in private practice upon my return to the States, I took a position with the Thurston County Office of Assigned Counsel where I was the Misdemeanor Unit Supervisor.  I returned to private practice in 2015.

I live in Olympia with my lovely wife Kristine (an Olympia native) and our two kids, Ben and Claire.  We love to travel, and I am still very much interested in international issues.
